Double Foot Productions has just completed phase one in the kjwriteleft.com upgrades. The first part of the plan is an upgrade of the wordpress blog KJ Takes a Blog. This has been completed and if you visit the site you will see what a difference it has made concentrating on functionality and loading speed.
After this websites upgrade the wordpress upgrades have been coming along smoothly and you can also see the results at Ineligible Bachelor another wordpress run site. The next part of our work will include a complete overhaul of the main kjwriteleft.com site which is built on the Joomla CMS system.
The reason for the Joomla upgrade is the new release of the CMS to version 1.6 which requires a completely new install anyway. So this was a perfect opportunity to remove the “beta” part of the URL (no, it is not longer in BETA, lol). I have been putting it off for a while because it does house all of my photography and poetry, so it is a big move.
